This is just horrible news that we would never hear if you were not there, Patrick. I know that the Lord God has you there for a reason, and you will guide and help tend His flock as they come through this battle. We will be praying earnestly!
Patrick, This verse from Ephesians 6: 14-16 was the daily Bible verse in my inbox today, and I just had to send it to you...I know that our Lord God is giving you everything you need, everyday, and so "Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one." I know that this scripture was special for today because I know now how you have gone with such confidence and peace...you know that God will fight the battle with you and go before you and make your way clear. Just keep spreading the Good Word, man!
